Manage and supervise all global station’s ground handling activities. Directs the various aspects of the business by coordinating the different activities performed by operational departments.
Ensures the highest standards in safety, service delivery, and creates KPIs relevant to the company’s strategic vision. Controls expenses and ensures maximum output from resources.
Develops excellent relationships with airport authority and related Governmental bodies to facilitate activities and ensures removal of red-tape. Participate with senior management in developing the company’s strategy.
Duties and Job Function:
To devise long-term and short-term strategies and institute systems to ensure that business units meet their goals in line with the organizational direction.
Direct and lead toward the achievement of the organizational philosophy, vision, mission, and its annual goals and objectives.
Direct, manage, and oversee the related financial and budgetary activities
Analyze financial statements, reports, and other performance indicators and provide the necessary feedback and recommendations
Monitor control and approve capital and non-capital expenditures and audit effectiveness
Endeavor to develop and succeed in maintaining appropriate company image that strives towards excellence in satisfying customers
Maintain viable financial management and reporting, including forecasts and budgets of the operations of all business units.
Maintain viable and healthy relation with strategic accounts, business partners, official entities, and government bodies
Develop and implement suitable management structure and operating authority levels which include delegations of responsibilities to the management
Accountable to the CEO for the safe and efficient operational management of the global stations
Manages all aspects of the NAS lounges and its operations across the network to include revenue goals, contribution margin targets, team leadership and operational efficiency.
Lead the lounge operations business direction from a strategic level and have overall accountability for the high level planning, development and overall running of lounges across NAS network.
Accountable for the operational performance of lounges, utilizing exceptional communication and leadership skills to form excellent business relationships with the Airport, Airport Partners and the Airlines, instilling their trust and confidence in NAS services.
Develop strategic business plans; oversee their execution, delegation, and control of the P&L of lounge operations.
Responsible for short-term and long-term planning, collaborating proactively across stations, to ensure successful execution in all aspects of the lounge operations.
Develop a critical link in the development of positive working relationships with key stakeholders and customers and responsible for ensuring NAS lounges are always regarded as a professional, forward thinking and consistently reliable lounge service provider of choice.
Development of strategic business plans for lounge operations that underpin the wider business strategy and shape the execution of these across all stations to deliver a safe and secure consistent, efficient and dependable customer service.
College or University graduate: Technical trainings related to aviation / ground handling
Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years working experience in a managerial position, preferably a multi-functional airport handling environment
Competencies Required: Understanding of ground handling agreements.
Familiarity with airline operations, policies and procedures.
Familiarity with safety analysis and risk assessment.
Fluency in English / Arabic language is preferable
