Our client, a top player in the aviation sector is hiring for a CFO to be based in their Jordan office. The CFO will be managing and overseeing all financial aspects including risk management, development of financial and operational strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve the firm’s assets and report accurate financial results of the company under the supervision and guidance of the CEO and the Board of Directors of the company.
Direct the fiscal functions of the company in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by regulatory and advisory organisations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the aviation industry.
Oversees negotiation of key projects legal and risk portfolios.
Direct, plan, develop, implement and evaluate the organisation's fiscal functions and performance.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of short/long-term planning. Ensure development of the annual budget and business plan by setting appropriate objectives.
Ensure appropriate cash management at all times, including optimising shareholders payback of shareholders’ loans and equity.
Provide timely and accurate analysis / advises of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO, the Board of Directors and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in an overall financial/business function having held executive roles in reputed organisations preferably in the aviation sector.
Master’s degree in accounting, finance or MBA combined with CPA/ ACCA/ CMA
Demonstrate skills in both written and oral presentations (English and Arabic).
Strong corporate finance capabilities and understanding the project finance environment.
Ability to efficiently interact with board members and government representatives.
Demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience in the design and maintenance of financial models.
