Position Overview:
As Programmatic Lead, you will be the programmatic (display, video) thought leader within the organization and your primary responsibility is to help deliver the in-store and ecommerce growth targets for the Home Depot Canada. You will manage a boutique agency specialized in activating programmatic media in addition to a full circle of program deliverables including budgeting, optimization, supply path optimization, reporting and analysis.  
 
Position Responsibilities
Manage the programmatic agency
Develop the strategic roadmap for programmatic related activities and capabilities
Develop the audience targeting strategy using first party and third party behavioural data; carve the strategy between prospecting and retargeting
Interface with the marketing and planning teams to deploy new campaigns or make program recommendations and modifications; execute corporate and vendor funded campaigns
Ensure the creative, audience and media strategy are all aligned with the campaign objective
Weekly budget pacing and optimization to deliver against the forecast of the business
Key event management: i.e. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Spring
Weekly, monthly and ad hoc campaign reporting and analysis to multiple stakeholders including marketing, merchandising, planning and senior leadership
Stay abreast of the latest offerings and capabilities within programmatic in general and the Google ecosystem specifically

Desired Skills and Experience 
Thought leader in the field of programmatic media; seen as a subject matter expert by peers and organizational leadership
Minimum three years experience in managing programmatic programs with sizable budgets
Expert knowledge of the interworking between demand and supply side platforms
Expert knowledge of the Google ad stack, especially DV360, GA360 & Campaign Manager
A deep understanding of how upper funnel campaigns in general and programmatic media specifically influences behaviour through engagements and interactions
A strong understanding of machine learning and its role within programmatic
Presentation skills; ability to synthesize complex topics and ideas and explain them in an coherent and understandable way to senior management across different functions
Analytics expertise; able to organize and present data that explains a cause and effect relationship that the organization can learn from and use for program optimization
Naturally curious, with an inclination to problem solve and uncover meaning
Bias towards action and results
Experience managing an agency is an asset
Retail industry experience is an asset
