Job Responsibilities:
Overall responsible for the effective and efficient operations of the Project Management and Systems & Solutions Business to meet and/or exceed budget bookings and customer’s specifications, project schedules, financial goals and quality standards.
Ensures achievement of both monthly and overall sales and profit forecast; liaise with Finance department for POR reporting.
Ensures accurate and competitive proposal for major systems project pursuit.
Oversees project pursuit/sales team for major account.
Ensures good project management/engineering standards and practices are implemented at all times, including material procurement, project implementation phase, up to the successful commissioning of the project at customer site.
Ensures focus on understanding customer needs and solving of customer problems to improve customer satisfaction.
Ensures adequate and competent resources are assigned to each of the functional groups.
Responsible for putting in place effective cost reduction programs to reduce unnecessary cost and maximize project profitability and returns.
Ensures implementation of timely and accurate cost tracking mechanism of project and divisional costs.
Develops and establishes buying agreements with strategic suppliers to minimize buyout material and services cost.
Promotes and built solution capabilities and application knowledge to support existing and potential business areas.
Ensures and co-ordinates leveraging of resources/database from different world area systems groups.
Develops departmental employees’ skills and capabilities, through the PMP process in order to insure they reach their personal goals.
Continuous enhancement of existing business practices/processes to improve productivity and profitability.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Control or Computer Engineering.
Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in process control industry and project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
Solid people management skills with excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
Strong leadership, organizational and planning skills.
Knowledge of commercial and financial issues.
Excellent analytical skills and results-oriented.
Decisive, drive and ability to deliver effective, innovative solutions.
Hands-on management style with focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
