Roles & Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership and direction to managers and/or senior professionals along with people management responsibility. Contributes to development of strategies, decision making and is guided by functional strategies and priorities. Concerned with ensuring long term plans are in place to deliver service to meet functional strategies and business objectives.
Translates strategic business/function goals into specific objectives for the organization and drives execution through personal ownership and clearly defined accountabilities
Likely to be a key member of the organization management team responsible for strategic decision making
Uses key metrics and management information systems to track the organization’s performance
Ensures that targets are consistently achieved and takes prompt corrective action to address performance gaps
Inspires the team to strive for continuous performance improvement by constantly challenging the status quo and by fostering an environment of risk taking and innovation.
Builds a customer centric organization in terms of structures, processes and mindset that delivers best-in-class customer experience and innovation
