Set the vision, formulate and execute strategies to develop and grow the business through organic and acquisition growth.
Optimise the end to end commercial and operations including but not limited to : profitable trading and targeted marketing, distribution plans and programs, supply chain management, and sustainability.
Lead, grow and manage the palm oil trading and distribution business.
Lead, motivate and manage a strong team of professionals to instil engagement, common purpose and the Group’s Values.
Manage and engage key external and internal stakeholders to address and align strategic issues of the business.
Part of the board member to oversight into the direction and performance of the palm oil business.
Strong background in soft commodities with an established track record in managing a profitable commodity business.
Experience in handling regular and large volume trade flows with good use of logistics. Experience in managing multi-tonnage volume and milti-billions turnover.
Seasoned hand at managing a commodity trading team, good understanding of exploiting risk-reward trading matrix and risk management
Good commercial sense and strong business acumen
Strong business development and strategic management skills
Leadership skills with high energy and drive, ability to build and lead a high performance organization
Knowledge/exposure to destination market
Good knowledge of Oils and Fats industry an added advantage
