The Confidential Company is seeking an exceptional personnel in developing and maintaining an IT strategy to meet current and future business needs that are focused on improving customer experience and driving operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be operating at a senior IT level with an exceptional track record, proven relevant IT experience in the design, development and implementation of information technology and communications systems.
Extensive skills gained from working within complex fast paced environments that have experienced group wide business change and transformation will be essential. The successful individual will demonstrate a high degree of commerciality along with experience of setting out a clear digital roadmap though to delivery.
It would be highly beneficial if the successful individual has worked within a business that has significant customer facing profile and recognises the value of employing digital solutions aimed at delivering improvements in communication in support of customer acquisition and retention.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to operate at executive committee level with the capability to contribute to the full business discussions as well as providing technical expertise.
The person will also need to play a full role in driving the business in terms of the potential that technology driven business initiatives can bring.
Develop and maintain an IT strategy for TLL to meet current and future business needs. To provide a cost effective, scalable high performance IT across infrastructure, communications and applications to support key business objectives. Recommend new strategies and related investment to the Board.
Partner with the company's business units, contributing to developing and achieving effective business strategies through IT innovations and solutions.
To manage technical and development projects and ensure that projects are delivered to time, benefit, cost and quality expectations.
To manage live applications which are maintained either via internal or external support, ensuring high quality and minimal errors.
To develop and maintain the IT infrastructure of all locations within TLL to ensure that system availability is always in excess of agreed service levels, with continuing improvement in systems availability and disaster recovery planning.
Financial management of multi-million SGD Opex and Capex budgets. Ability to instill a culture of “value for money” and ensure appropriate investment decisions.
To work with senior management to ensure maximum operational efficiency and cost effectiveness supported by realisation of benefits as a result of IT projects and other work.
To provide a company-wide source of expertise on information technology and communications to ensure that managers and staff have the best possible information for effective decision making and accessing data.
To ensure compliance and excellence in data management, data governance and data usage in the business.
To establish and support an IT organisational structure that will ensure management accountability, succession planning and staffing levels which are able to react in a timely way to business needs whilst remaining cost effective.
To ensure that supplier relationships offer TLL value for money and reliability, whether for technical service provision and support, package acquisition or external bespoke development working with the procurement and or finance teams, as appropriate
Monitor and improve service delivery to ensure that agreed targets and standards are met cost effectively.
Maintain knowledge of available technologies and IT practices and evaluate their worth to the company. Compare and control with existing technologies and practices within TLL.
Ensure business continuity plans are in place and are effective.

Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Programming, Computer Science or equivalent.
Possesses more than 10 years’ of management experience in an IT environment.
Experience in and familiarity with computer interface, database management technology, business applications, information systems, operating systems, systems analysis, project management, and computer architecture.
Familiar with operating system or programme(s), such as Office365, Adobe, CRM, and cloud computing.
Experience in providing IT solutions in a fast paced and complex environment preferred.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, strategic thinking capability, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex business environment.
Commercial acumen, excellent presentation and communication skills, and the ability to impact positively throughout the organisation.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and an ability to maintain professional relationships with senior management of all business divisions.
Strong leadership, an ability to build, align and lead a team, to set high performance objectives and to deliver on these.
Possesses the ability to operate at both the strategic level as well as being willing and able to ‘roll their sleeves up’ will be seen as an asset.
Clear experience in managing multiple 3rd party relationships and stakeholders preferred.
