Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Digital Marketing to lead the function for our APAC region. You will be tasked with delivering the breadth of their knowledge and experience to provide advanced digital solutions for our clients across the full spectrum of the techniques and tools available. This role will serve as a key liaison among account teams, client contacts and executive management. You will be responsible for staff development as well as financial management of client portfolios. You will advance the agency’s digital marketing offering and continue to nurture our innovative culture. In addition, you will be tasked with building the business through developing new business leads and converting them to clients.

We are looking for change agents that are external facing and internal collaborators.
 What you will do:
Serve as a key contact for clients, setting and integrated approach to digital marketing programmes using all necessary tools (e.g. video, infographics, google analytics, website, emails, blogs and channels yet to be introduced into the market).
Research products, services and current strategies to identify new business and opportunities for current clients.
Research and develop client digital strategies and be able to incorporate a broad range digital tools, partnerships and platforms to deliver such strategies.
Work with the Global digital team to coordinate on new business, client opportunities, and Cognito initiatives.
Strategic communications planning including content integration, advertising, and SEO/ SEM.
Expertise in channel optimisation, community management and content planning are key.
Build strong client relationships through thoughtful, innovative and strategic interactions.
Ensure comprehensive understanding of clients’ business and sector objectives and challenges to ensure you combine excellent client servicing skills with sound strategic counsel à with a focus on problem solving and stakeholder management.
Build a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives to set clear strategies aligned with the client’s goals.
Keep up-to-date with our audience preferences and build new campaigns to drive business results for our clients and the agency at large.
Build relationships with clients and colleagues within the sector to ensure seamless integration of digital activities. Act as a conduit and resource to the account teams, acting as senior counsel and support to their clients and new business opportunities.
Grow existing business and achieve organic growth through seeking and winning new business opportunities to support Cognito’s financial targets
Work closely with other agency digital marketing specialists for implementation and management of digital and content marketing strategies.
Identify agency digital marketing opportunities to build overall brand awareness and appreciation for our services.
Establish and share best practices in digital marketing
Find innovative ways to provide integrated solutions to clients in tandem with the PR team.
Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and introduce best practices in digital marketing.
Manage marketing budgets for client accounts, ensuring profitability, growth, and quality of service.
 
What we are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
A minimum of ten years relevant experience, three of which have been in a supervisory role.
Demonstrated experience with executing results-oriented client programs.
Experience implementing and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns.
Solid knowledge of web analytic tools such as Google Analytics and online marketing tools and techniques such as pay-per-click, and CRO reporting.
Proven agency experience.
Excellent client and project management skills.
Familiarity with graphic and web design.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
