About The Sales Director (Logistics) Role
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside the MD. You will also take lead in providing direction to all client- managing activities, including anticipating key customer needs, offering new solutions, contract negotiations and budget preparation and review.
Source, identify and establish relationship with prospective customers
Provide Contract Logistic solutions, freight management and cross borders solutions to the customers
Perform cost modelling with collaboration of Operations & Finance Departments
Develop the MOU’s/LOIs/LSAs with Legal and commercial departments
Respond to tenders: RFP/RFQ/RFI
As you will be client-facing, you must possess outstanding listening and communication skills with clear understanding of the Logistic industry to be successful in this role.
Four years working experience as an Business Developer for logistic firm
Clear understanding of warehousing & transportation development
Able to communicate well in English both orally or professionally written
Willing to travel and meet customer in flexible schedule
Must be driven, self-motivated and result orientated – not afraid of innovating
Working in a 3PL is an added advantage
High PC literacy (Either in AutoCAD or MS Office – Advance Level)
