Crime Stoppers Victoria (CSV) has a fantastic opportunity in a newly created role for an experienced and enthusiastic Corporate Services Manager to join the Crime Stoppers team based in our Docklands office in Melbourne. This is a full-time, 3-year fixed term role, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
CSV is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a voluntary Board of Directors and managed by a CEO. Established in 1987, CSV works with the community to help make Victoria a safer place.
This role will support and lead the internal operations of Crime Stoppers Victoria’s (CSV) corporate services function, providing high level governance, administrative, strategic planning and operational oversight. The role will oversee and provide advice to senior management on administrative matters including HR/staff management, financial planning, facility management and information technology services.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the role will drive financial security and sustainability for CSV and build trust and strength in our governance structures. The Corporate Services Manager will be accountable for key project deliverables within the Strategic Plan 2018-21 with a particular emphasis in the areas of financial sustainability, technology innovation and employee engagement.

You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills as well as an excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Key selection criteria
Tertiary qualification in relevant discipline e.g. Accounting, finance or business
Full membership of a recognised accounting body, e.g. ICAA, CPA Australia
Comprehensive understanding of finance and corporate services practices with strong finance manager and accounting experience gained from a commercial environment
Proven ability to negotiate and influence to achieve agreed outcomes in the corporate services environment
Ability to provide financial and governance leadership and support to all levels of the organisation
Highly-developed influencing, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated experience in governance and working with Boards and Board finance sub-committees
Proven ability to work in a small but growing team
Demonstrated sound decision making and judgement and the ability to deal comfortably with ambiguity and complexity.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and work productively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Experience working with senior stakeholders in a complex environment.
Experience working collaboratively to develop solutions.
Proven ability to provide professional guidance, to influence multi-disciplinary teams and to be an effective team player.
Demonstrate a high level of motivation and commitment to the values and ethos of CSV.
