Account Manager -- Helping Customers Grow and Businesses Succeed

The Position

We're looking for an Account Manager in Edmonton, Alberta to help make our customer's machines become smarter, faster, more efficient, better value, more flexible, and more reliable to give them a serious advantage over their competitors.
This position offers the potential to be the CEO of your territory.
Ability to work with our full product and solution portfolio.


Performance Objectives
Learn about Omron's entire portfolio of products and applications: In Year 1, attend Boot Camps, online webinars and time with mentors in the field.
Meet and Greet with the people you will work with: After 90 days, you will have created relationship opportunities with Account Managers, Application Engineers, Customers and Distributors to help achieve future success.
Conduct market analysis and create a development plan: By end of 90 days, analyze, evaluate and implement a sales plan for your new territory.
Success in your territory: By the end of the Fiscal Year, you will have met your goals in Territory, Target Account and Product Revenue.


Experience
Sales of industrial automation or similar products.
Knowledge of some or all of the following products: Advanced Motion, Advanced Sensing, Robotics, Controls, Components, and Safety.
Managing and/or working with a distribution channel.
