Direct short and long term planning and establishment of strategic and tactical plans to achieve business objectives.
Oversees the establishment of annual performance goals and objectives, budgets and allocation or resources.
Develop the capabilities of the department.
Review policies, procedures and practices followed by the department and to identify, control weakness and to implement corrective measures.
Review the department performance regularly to ensure that maximum productivity and efficiency are achieved.
Review and submit to Senior Management quarterly reports on achievements and appropriate recommendations to enhance the department performance.
Comply with ACK policies and procedures.
Manage the day to day operations and staff of the Finance department.
Contribute to the financial strategic planning, policy and decision making process of ACK and providing management data and high level of financial advice to Senior ACK Management.
Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
Link KRA’s & KPI’s to financial models.
Directs internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
Analyze financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
Ensures standards are in place and department is running with effectiveness and efficiently.
Supervise, train, motivate and appraise performance of the staff and satisfy individual training and development needs.
Exhibit strong leadership skills in motivating and directing critical business activities in a collaborative, team oriented culture.
Undertake other duties as required by the President.
