As Chief Financial Officer , you will demonstrate strong leadership to the Finance and IT department in line with local, regional and global priorities and drive the team to support the business to grow strategically via strong financial/business decision support and business risks assessment.
Key responsibliities would include:
Ensure compliance with AE statutory, tax, legal and accounting requirements.
Manage and control financial and controlling activities in the areas of financial reporting, budgeting, accounting policies, investment, tax & fiscal related and risk management matters in accordance with the group policies & guidelines and local business environment to ensure compliance.
Provide finance and controlling support to Country Manager, as well assist to grow the business strategically via financial/business decision support, business risks assessment, etc.
To plan, execute and finalize purchasing and procurement strategies across the organization.
To plan and execute IT strategy across the organization
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Professional accountancy qualification (CPA, CA or equivalent)
Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent
10-15 years’ experience in a financial management role, including 5-7 years managerial experience in a large organisation
Knowledge or working experience of UAE financial & legal requirements will be a plus
Financial and commercial acumen
Negotiating and interpersonal skills
Experience in logistics industry (preferable)
Building and Leading teams
Building and Managing Partnerships
