Job Overview We are currently recruiting for a General Manager to be based in Doha, Qatar. It is the responsibility of the General Manager for the overall profit and loss responsibility for the Qatar shop. You will provide direct ownership and leadership to position the shop to be at the forefront of the oil and gas service industry and as one of the top performing businesses within EthosEnergy in both profitability and growth.
Overall profit and loss responsibility for the Business, which includes development and implementation of regional and country business plans.
Oversee local market, sales activities, and competitor analysis, predict and prepare to take advantage of industry trends and customer demand changes.
Lead the business in all aspects of strategic planning including, capital planning, resource planning, and growth initiatives as required to drive the profitable growth of the Business Unit. Direct the Business Unit to grow new products and services.
Oversee Company operations to drive production efficiency, quality, service excellence and cost-effective management.
Plan, develop and implement strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the Company.
Identify acquisition, merger, joint venture and strategic alliance opportunities; obtain internal approvals and funding and direct implementation activities.
Approve Business operational procedures, policies and standards and ensure compliance with required Group and regulatory policies and procedures.
Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress toward performance objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to the staff and entire team including support functions to ensure needs of the business are satisfied.
Ensure plans for the business are clearly communicated and subordinate plans and objectives are aligned with overall objectives.
Lead and drive a culture that values people, safety, personnel development, engagement and empowerment. Communicate to all levels of the organization.
Identify and develop key performance indicators (KPI’s) and utilize shared vision and KPI’s to facilitate continuous improvement across the business
Prepare reports and conduct regular reviews as required.

Ability to develop and maintain a team-based organizational structure.
Knowledge of policy and procedure creation and change management initiatives.
Knowledge of general human resources principles, practices, and objectives
Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety principles, practices and policies.
Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles, practices, and objectives.

Proficiency in computer programs and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
