APP Group is the Montreal-based parent company of the Mackage and SOIA & KYO brands. We are creators, wholesalers and retailers of luxurious and quality outerwear, handbags and accessories, sold to upscale retailers in over 20 countries throughout the world. We also operate 5 Mackage stores in Canada and the USA. In 2018 APP Group had the pleasure of opening the first SOIA&KYO store in Toronto. Since our foundation in 1990, our operations continue to expand annually with offices currently in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Miami and Shanghai.
 
The Supply Chain Director at APP Group participate in establishing, leading and executing the Supply Chain strategy domestically as well as internationally. The director will also be responsible for supporting all production needs and customer order fulfillment requirements. This role will have a strong focus on improvement initiatives to support all aspects of supply chain management.
 
Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, the Supply Chain Director will be responsible for leading the traffic & logistics operations in addition to the warehousing operations.
 
 
What you’ll do
 
Participate in the creation of the supply chain strategy and lead its development and implementation in alignment with the corporate goals including distribution & logistics;
Oversee the supply chain budget and operations performance;
Provide quality and cost metrics/reports and implement continuous improvement programs;
Manage Delivery and Cost-Saving Initiatives, both domestically and internationally;
Provide strategic cross-functional collaboration with Production, Sales, Operations and Customer Service departments to ensure the team alignment and execute strategic planning initiatives;
Implement best practices in terms of operations;
Develop capabilities and supply chain initiatives to support supply chain performance over a multi-year horizon;
Oversee supply chain processes and infrastructure;
Meet or exceed all company’s expectations by ensuring on time and complete delivery of products;
Evaluate business trends and participate in S&OP in order to properly staff distribution and maintain a good service level despite all business fluctuations;
Design and execute strategy to manage and mitigate ongoing logistics costs, both domestic and overseas.
 
What you’ll need
 
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field;
Ten (10) or more years' experience in Supply Chain and Logistics;
Proven track record for innovation, execution and delivering results to drive a good performance culture;
Outstanding communication skills, proven team management abilities.
Demonstrate initiative and a sense of urgency;
Sense of organization, thoroughness and ability to meet deadlines.
