The team is responsible to improve customer experience for regional Australia, grow market share and deliver positive commercial outcomes in designated region whilst effectively managing key stakeholder relationships.
Working in this fast paced changing environment, you will provide the leadership and management expertise for the operation to achieve increased market share, customer experience excellence, community expectations. Of major importance will be your outstanding strengths in people leadership and communication, the ability to operate in an independent manner including making decisions across all business activities, and a "can do" approach to the achievement of results. In this Canberra based role you will be the face of Telstra in your region, facing into Media as well as maintaining excellent relationships with many stakeholders located across your region (many of those within the political arena) is an essential requirement.
Some Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
Retain and grow market share across regional areas using local insights and knowledge to identify opportunities, engage and influence internal and external stakeholders to retain and grow customer base.
Commercial accountability for identifying regional product gaps (development) and regional product sales.
Identify, manage and escalate systemic issues and risks that potentially have an impact upon Telstra’s reputation and image that have not been resolved at regional level
Provide strategic and expert advice to external stakeholders on regional issues and manage relationships with key stakeholders. Be a subject matter exert on new technologies, working cross-enterprise to execute on opportunities ( ie smart cities, IOT)
Influence the national marketing and sales strategies and ensure they are successfully driven and monitored in accordance with agreed plans.
Act as a point of contact in the event of a natural disaster or other significant customer disruption
