Expressions of interest are being sought to fill the role of the Chief Information Officer at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
The ACCC is open to candidates working from Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Townsville. However, depending on the nature of the work, there may be occasions where geographic considerations will take preference in deciding candidate selection.
About The Chief Information Officer
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) role is responsible for the development and delivery of the organisation's ICT vision and strategic plan, for all aspects of security, and for championing ICT investment priorities across the agency. The CIO will provide advice and lead the operations of ICT services to ensure alignment with priorities for strategic directions through good governance and informed decision making. The role is complex and diverse requiring innovative, delivery focused and cost effective solutions to business problems.
The CIO will be required to engage closely with key stakeholders, exhibit a strong understanding of all projects in progress, budget management, leadership, and a good awareness of the policies and processes appropriate to the role.
