Under the general direction of the Vice President, Quality, this individual performs a variety of duties that support the activities within the department. Key functions of this position include coordination responsibilities. Strong communication, organization, and computer skills are critical to this position. This individual interacts with all levels of hospital staff and management.
The QR Coordinator provides risk management/legal support to the Director, coordinating legal depositions, correspondences and logs. This individual is also responsible for the hospital’s administrative policy management system. The QR Coordinator provides administrative support for the General and Executive Quality Improvement Committees. When requested, this individual provides administrative and data support for the medical staff credentialing processes.
