Job Description :
Responsible for managing a project through the project life cycle. (planning to close out) Overall leadership of the project team ensuring safely, timeliness, and to-cost delivery of the projects.
Ensure projects risks are reported to higher management together with solutions and alternatives
Responsible to ensure the delivered products meet the needs of the stakeholders, both internal and external.
Directs the project planning, design; construction and approval processes.
Co-ordinates with all parties involved with the project; internal departments, consultants and contractors.
Monitors progress against targets and solves complex issues between stakeholders.
Manages project budgets and reports progress against budget.
Ensuring that the service delivery required from other Departments (i.e. Planning & Development, Procurement) is on time and as per project needs.
Oversee the delivery of projects according to agreed time frames
Resolves and coordinate with relevant service providers such as Operations, on technical, engineering and maintenance requirements
Coordinate with the procurement department and work within their framework
Desired Candidate Profile :
Technical skills and proven track Record of experience in Bridges Construction Projects
Experience in working with Government authorities
Experienced in the application of the principles and practices of project management
Contract Negotiations, Management & Audits & Compliance
People Management & Teamwork integration
Strong leadership skills and Excellent communication skills.
